Friends on the other side

  1. I am a shaman — first I connect with something, then I paint, and only then I translate and interpret. It is my artistic choice.

  2. I get feedback on my art first and foremost from the spirit world, not from human teachers.

  3. I study the history of art to better interpret what I do, not to decide what art I want to create.

  4. "Art" is a misleading word, uniting completely different phenomena into one entity. This is why I am not going to talk about all art. I talk about what I personally do.

  5. After looking at my paintings, I say: my art is a place for the viewer to voluntarily meet something unknown.

  6. My art doesn's have the goal of disturbing or discomforting someone. People are often already anxious and unhappy. What I see as important right now is creating a space for happiness and for something more.

  7. I want my art to be accessible — for people with disabilities or without, for the tired or the energetic, for people who have little money or a lot of it, for our world, for the city, for the spirit world.
