Friends on the other side

I help people meet the unknown. With acrylic paint and markers on canvas, I translate something unshaped and invisible into the form of a painting. My work is meant to provide a safe space for viewers to explore something uncharted.

The challenge and the most precious part of the process for me is to see beyond the material representation of the world while at the same time preserving the recognizability of the object to a certain degree. That's why I deconstruct what I see in terms of colors and shapes. This is a never-ending experiment, a search for something elusive and powerful, which hides among objects that surround us.
